- A Disciple’s Duty Towards a Hater – Matthew 5:43-48
- Disciple: a student, learner, pupil or follower of.
- Duty: an obligation, operation or function toward.
- Hater: to express, exemplify or exhibit animosity, enmity or hostility towards another. To feel intense or passionate dislike for someone.
- Embrace the RULE to Love
- Embrace: to welcome, accept or receive
- Rule: an authoritative direction, instruction for conduct/behavior
- By Giving:
- Encourage penitence – Rom. 12:20
- Enable yourself to prevail – Rom. 12:21
- Express/Exhibit pity – Exodus 23:4,5
- You Experience peace – Prov. 25:21,22
- By Not Gloating:
- Proverbs 24:17,18; Proverbs 17:5b
- Shall not elude/evade punishment
- Shall not be excused/exempt from penalty
