I. Commission to Praise
Commission: To carry out a particular duty devotion or discipline; to command or call
- A. His sanctity: a sacredness, a separateness, apartness, holiness of disposition
Heavenly Abode (II Corinthians 12:2); Earthy Assembly (Psalm 100:4); Human Anatomy
(I Corinthians 6:19-20) - B. His sovereignty:supremacy of power, superiority (Psalm 95:3; 96:4; 97:9; 99:2; 115:3; and 135:5)
II. Causation for Praise
Causation: the basis for an action or response, reason , purpose, motive
- A. His valor/victories (bravery, boldness, strength especially in battle (Psalm 145:5-6)
- B. His virtue: moral/ethical goodness, righteousness of character, personality (Deuteronomy 3:24)
III. Composition of Praise
Composition: A combination of distinct parts/elements to form a whole; the arrangements of artistic parts so as to form a unified whole
- A. With clattering: rattling, clapping sound
- B. With copying: reverberating, resounding, re-echoing
- C. With circularity: in a circle, spiral manner
- D. With cords: strings of a musical instrument giving harmonious sound
- E. With clanging: a ringing like sound
IV. Conclusion in Praise
Conclusion: To close, to end or the last part of
All creation:
- Day 1: Light/day
- Day 2: Heaven/sky
- Day 3: Sea/plants: vegetation
- Day 4: Sun moon and stars
- Day 5: Sea/air creatures: fish, fowl
- Day 6: Land creatures/mankind
