How to Be Nice to People Who are Nasty to You

Matthew 5:43-48

I. Embrace the Rule (To Love)

(Rule: an authoritative direction, directive or decree, or instruction for conduct or behavior)
- By Giving (Romans 12:20; Proverbs 25:21,22)
- By not Gloating (Proverbs 24:17,18; Proverbs 17:5b)

II. Exercise the Routine (Of Love)

1.(Routine: a standard procedure, habitual, regular, ordinary course of action to be followed:

With your Words – say nothing about or nothing against that’s bad, evil or negative (Colossians 4:6;Ephesians 4:29; Psalm 19:14)
With your Works – to bring advantage to, not take advantage of (1 Timothy 6:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:15; Galatians 6:10)
With your Worship (to supplicate not suffocate) we pray for:
- Their deliverance
- Their development
- Their new direction

III. Encourage the Reason (for Love)

1. The basis or motive for an action decision or a conviction

To portray/prove your position with God
- By gesturing/sign
- By giving/sacrifice
- By greeting/salutation

To perfect the personality of God
- In your mentality
- In your morality
- In your maturity
