The Pupil’s Petitions – Matthew 6:9-15
- Pupil: a student under direct supervision of a teacher; a follower, learner, disciple especially of Jesus
- Petitions: a supplication or request to a superior authority: to entreat, invoke, or implore especially the will of God
- Recognition of God
  - Recognition: to acknowledge, be aware of, attentive to, acquainted with.
    - His Personality – sacred, sanctified, separated.

    - His Power – authority/atmosphere, activity/advantages, rule/realm, royalty/reign. John 15:7
    - His Purpose – determination, desire, delight, decree.

  - Requisition from God
    - Requisition: a request for something needed; a necessity, something necessary.
      - His Provision – personal needs
